Can you believe that there is a place to feel the summer in Manhattan this winter? Sure you can! Reunion surf bar is definitely a cool place to visit! You can enjoy the tropical atmosphere in Mexican beach bar without getting yourself a flight ticket!

An image that after a hard school day or work day, you are exhausted and tired. You must want to find a place to run away from heavy workloads. Suddenly you find a wood door painted with mermaid, walk into the door, go down the stair with the blue ocean wall painting, then you will feel the magic of Réunion. The decorations are colorful and freestyle; the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable; the music is joyous and lilting. The whole place would always release you from the mundane life and make you feel yourself.

We went to the bar by dusk in a Friday. When we were there, there were already a bunch of people standing outside waiting for the opening time. With more and more people pouring into this wonderland, the bar was already crowded at about 6pm only half of an hour after opening time!

The menu includes five cocktails, two beers, a shot and also a hotdog called Dodo Dog. And for a tip, taco is also on the happy hour menu on Tuesday. These eight drinks in happy hour menu taste totally different, you can definitely find some drinks interesting. But don’t forget to explore the main menu, you might find some surprises. We were really impressed by what we ordered. Foods and drinks here are definitely cost-effective and delicious.

Frozen Corona: Looking for some light drinks? Frozen Corona is gonna be your first choice! Combination of Corona Extra beer and fresh lime juice is perfectly fit for the first round! Warm up yourself and get prepared for the next round.

Mermaid: This is one of the most famous rum-based drinks. The extraordinary frozen Mojito with the flavor of mint and lime juice will absolutely rejuvenate you not to mention a mermaid leaning against your glass and spending the relaxing time with you.

Surfer Girl/Dude: Classics tropical screwdriver mixing with orange crush soda and topping with a piece of juicy orange is definitely gonna make your day!!! It is sweet but still a bit strong, try not to get blank out too early because there are still ten rounds behind!

Paloma: One of the Tequila lovers’ must-order drinks. Silver Tequila mix with lime juice & Jarritos grapefruit soda. If Paloma doesn’t satisfy you there are still $3 Tequila-based Acid Drop Shot waiting for you. Salud! Mexico!!!

Mai Tai: Although it is not in happy hour offering, it’s still a beautiful drink. Rum-based lime and orange curacao mixed cocktail topping with a pile of shaved ice. Take the first sip and you’ll die out for a sec because this drink is just amazing!!!
